A TALK about one of the UK’s native and most beloved animals will be held on Thursday in North Craven.
The talk, which is about red squirrels, will take place at St John's Methodist Church, on Church Street, Settle, at 7.30pm on Thursday, October 17.
The talk, titled ‘Squirrels in North West Craven’, will be given at a meeting hosted by Craven Conservation Group.
Julie Bailey, of UK Squirrel Accord and Yorkshire Dales Red Squirrel Alliance, will speak about red squirrels’ ecological management and the current situation for the creatures.
All welcome. Entrance is free for group members. The cost for non-members is £5 and people can pay or join the group on the night.
