TWO members of rock band The Levellers will return to perform in North Craven.
On Thursday, December 19, Levellers legends Dan Donnelly and Jon Sevink will once again bring their acclaimed duo show to Cruck Barn at the Craven Arms in Appletreewick.
Much more than simply a straightforward acoustic performance, Dan and Jon use guitar, their voices, electric violin and loops – which recreates the powerful sound of The Levellers.
As well as being a Leveller, Northern Irish singer songwriter Dan has also been a member of indie legends The Wonder Stuff – as well as having had a successful solo career.
Jon’s unique violin-playing and Dan’s solo material create goosebump moments during their renditions of classic Levellers material.
Opening the show will be acclaimed Yorkshire songwriting duo Plumhall, featuring Michelle Plum (ex-Chumbawamba/Waking The Witch/Chris Norman Band) and Nick Hall (Hall Brothers/Ian Prowse and Amsterdam/ex-Magna Carta).
Fresh from touring and performing with the legendary Fairport Convention earlier this year, the duo will showcase their new album ‘One Star Awake’.
Please note this is a standing performance, with some limited seating on the balcony available on a first come, first served basis.
Doors open at 7.30pm and the music starts at 7.45pm.
