SETTLE Voices Community Choir and Silsden Singers, under the leadership of Janet Russell, will be singing sea shanties in Settle Social Club on Friday November 1.
A spokesperson for the choirs said: " This concert – ‘Sing to Save Lives’ – is in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) which is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. The choirs will be joined by the Ribble Valley Strummers who will also play sea-related material."
The concert at Settle Social Club, Duke Street, will take place from 6pm to 8pm. Donations of £5 or more are requested. All money collected will go to the charity as the venue is being provided free of charge by Settle Social Club.
