THE A59 near Skipton has just re-opened following six days of re-surfacing work.
Work, which has meant the full closure of the busy route at West Marton, has included the repainting of road markings at the crossroads in the village.
The road will be open as usual from tomorrow (Tuesday); but it will have to be closed again to complete the re-lining work, because of today's weather conditions. Notices will be put up to warn people of when it will happen and it may not need a full closure.
