An Ingleton farm shop has won a national award for its cheese and pickle pork sausage.
Country Harvest, located on the A65 near Ingleton, won the award for Best Specialty Sausage at the UK Sausage Week 2024 Awards.
The shop learnt of its win at a celebration luncheon on Monday (October 28) hosted at Butchers' Hall in London.
The venue is home to one of that city's oldest livery companies, the Worshipful Company of Butchers.
Managing director Mike Clark attended the event alongside members of the team, including newly qualified butcher Sebastian Krechowicz, who collected the certificate on stage.
The shop's salt and pepper chicken sausage was also a finalist.
Mr Krechowicz said: "It’s an honour to have received the award for Best Speciality Sausage.
"It was a team effort, starting from a competition between the butchers creating different sausage flavours each week, to winning an award, and also having another as a finalist.
"What a wonderful achievement for Country Harvest."
Managing director, Mike Clark, added: "We’re thrilled to have won this award.
"So much work goes in to all of our products in the farm shop and our butchery is no different.
"To receive a winner and finalist status for two of our sausages is amazing.
"These have already been very popular with our customers."
Country Harvest offers food, gifts, and clothing, combining butchery, bakery, coffee shop, and seasonal living cabin in one.
