OWNERS of The Beer Engine in Skipton - joint winner of CAMRA's Yorkshire Pub of the Year - are due to be presented with their winner's certificate this weekend.
Directors of the Skipton pub, Adam Davies and Steven Gregory, will be presented with a framed certificate at 2pm on Saturday by Peter Goddard, CAMRA's regional director for Yorkshire.
The Beer Engine, in Albert Street, is described in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide 2024 as 'a well-established micropub in a tiny street between the town centre and the canal' with a 'friendly and ambient' atmosphere and where well-behaved dogs are welcome.
The Beer Engine shares its Yorkshire Pub of the Year award with the Three B's micropub in Bridlington.
