A NUMBER of competitions aimed at talented under-18 year olds in Craven has been launched by Skipton Rotary Club.
The competitions are aimed at giving young creatives and performers a platform to show their talents.
They include contests in debating, designed at encouraging young people to develop their presentation skills; and a competition for aspiring young writers.
Other competitions include for musicians, artists, and one for cooking, where budding young chefs are tasked with preparing and presenting a two-course meal.
Young photographers are also given the chance to express themselves through photography while interpreting the competition's annual theme in an imaginative way.
Nicky Shoesmith, head of the youth team at Skipton Rotary, said: “We’re thrilled to provide this opportunity for young people to express their creativity and showcase their talents. It’s a fantastic way for them to grow and connect with others who share their interests.
"This is a unique opportunity for young people across Craven to shine. Don’t miss out—good luck to all who enter."
