THE winner of the Skipton and Ripon MP's annual Christmas card competition for 2024 has been revealed.

Rt Hon Sir Julian Smith KCB CBE MP recieved hundreds of creative entries from primary school pupils across his constituency.

Alfie, a nine-year-old pupil who attends Settle Church of England Primary School, has now been named as this year’s winner.

Alfie’s festive design, featuring a beautifully crafted Christmas bauble, will be on the cover of Julian’s official Christmas card, sent to recipients in Westminster and throughout the constituency.

In addition to the winning entry, four talented runners-up were selected and will feature inside the card.

The MP said: "With so many fantastic submissions from children across the constituency, the decision was incredibly tough, and I want to thank every pupil who participated.

"There has been a clear display of creativity in this year’s entries, and I am delighted that Alfie’s artwork will take centre stage on my Christmas card, alongside the fantastic designs by Annabelle, Isabelle, Reuben, and Emily."
