A VIOLINIST is swapping her bow for her crochet hook in the hopes of keeping amateur music alive in Craven.
Crafter and musician Anne Heaton is creating a beautiful work of art to raise money for Langcliffe Singers.
Formed by Valeri Baulard the community choir based in Settle has been bringing joy to the Yorkshire Dales for more than 40 years.
Local amateur musicians come together to work with a professional conductor and accompanist before putting on their own concerts.
The choir has strong links with Settle Orchestra.
Anne will turn 19 balls of yarn into a stunning, floral-themed blanket known as the Spirit of Flora.
The design - amounting to 5,870 metres - was created by Janie Crow.
The raffle will be drawn at the choir’s summer concert at Victoria Hall, Settle.
