The festive spirit has taken over Skipton after a magical Christmas lights switch-on over the weekend.
Crowds turned out to see the town light up the dark wintery skies and enjoy a day of entertainment.
The Great Skipton Santa Fun Run made its much anticipated return as a sea of red and white covered runners took to the streets.
Visitors enjoyed festive food and drink, seasonal sing-along's and live music, as well as artisan stalls.
A spokesperson for Skipton Christmas Light Switch On said: "Although the weather was a tad wet and windy in the morning, it did not stop Skipton turning out for its annual Christmas Light Switch On and The Great Skipton Santa Fun Run.
"We just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who made today’s event a success!"
The seasonal fun is set to continue on Sunday, December 1, when the Christmas Market opens to visitors.
