A Christmas fair is set to be held to raise money for dogs in need.

Dogs Trust Leeds’s annual Christmas fair will be held at Woodlands Farm, York Road on November 30 from 11.30am to 3.30pm.

All money raised from the event will go towards supporting the 79 dogs currently in Dogs Trust Leeds’s care.

The event will include festive games, a 'Santa Paws' photo opportunity, and a raffle.

There will also be stalls, baked goods, and stocking fillers for sale.

Following the success of last year’s fair, which raised more than £1,000 for the charity, Dogs Trust Leeds is hoping for another fortunate year.

Kelly Walker, manager at Dogs Trust Leeds, said: "Our Christmas fair is always a wonderful occasion.

"This year promises to be a fantastic day out for family, friends and canine companions.

"We look forward to welcoming everyone along to the rehoming centre for a festive, fun-filled afternoon.

"All the money donated at the Christmas fair will go directly to supporting the dogs in our care and finding them a happy place to call home.

"It’s a wonderful way to raise pounds for hounds whilst getting in the Christmas spirit."

The event is expected to be 'very busy and noisy', so people are asked to only bring their dogs if they will 'thoroughly enjoy it'.
