Ingleton will step back in time this weekend.
It will try to create what it was like in the 1940s in its French twin town of La Chapelle des Marais, which was occupied by the Germans.
Allied troops will liberate the village and there will be singing and dancing in the square.
Saturday’s highlights will include a dance in the community centre with the Starlight Swing Band at 7.30pm while, on Sunday, Winston Churchill will inspect the troops and watch a parade through the village led by the 51st Highland Division Black Watch Pipes and Drums.
Weather permitting, there will also be a Battle of Britain Spitfire fly-past.
