Episode six of this year's The Apprentice series was back with all the drama we expect from the boardroom.

The sixth episode saw 10 candidates battle it out to win over Lord Alan Sugar and his aides, Baroness Karren Brady and first-ever The Apprentice winner Tim Campbell.

The candidates are hoping to win a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar.

Here's everything that happened in this week's episode.

Who is on each team this week?

Team Infinity included Kathryn, Aaron, Akeem, Amy and Harpreet.

On Team Diverse were Francesca, Akshay, Stephanie, Sophie, Brittany and Nick.

What happened in episode six?

At the end of last week's episode, Lord Sugar visited the candidates at their house in London to announce the latest task.

"I'm sending you to North Wales," Lord Sugar said, explaining tourism was the "fastest growing industry in Britain".

The candidates were tasked with setting up a bespoke tour business in North Wales and selling tickets to tourists for a profit.

As with previous years, the clients can ask for their money back if they are unhappy with the service provided.

Heading up Team Infinity was Kathryn, who decided to do the Zip World Llechwedd Deep Mine Tour and a cheese tasting.

PMing Team Diverse was Stephanie, who chose to do the Highland Railway Tour and watercolour painting masterclass.

Both teams had to memorise as much information as possible about the attractions, which failed miserably.

Tim Campbell said: "Being a tour guide is not Nick's forte" after the train took the guests through farmland with tractors and sheep.

Kathryn told a group of unimpressed tour guests: "Shane Ritchie has been on this zipline. Woah!"

Back at the watercolour painting site, the rain started pouring, meaning the guests had to go back on the train to finish their landscape painting.

Both teams had to sell the cheese and whiskey to their guests after the tasting, and ask for tips.

Who was fired?

Stephanie's team spent £760 at the Highlands Railway Tour and whiskey tasting. They made £1116.83 on tickets and had no refunds giving them £356.83 in profit.

The deep mining tour at Zip World cost Kathryn's team £992. They made £1195.85 on tickets and had no refunds, so only made £203.85 profit.

Unfortunately, this wasn't enough.

Amy and Aaron, who were on the sales team, were in the boardroom with project manager Kathryn.

When asked by Lord Sugar why she should stay in the competition, Amy said: "Please don't let my calm and collected nature fool you and deceive you. I have such a fire in my belly."

Lord Sugar said: "This doesn't stack up with ducking opportunities. You must give me a little bit of credit to smell who is playing it safe.

"Amy you dodged the project management side of things. You have been here six weeks to prove you can do something. It is with regret  that you're fired."

Lord Sugar warned Aaron that he was a lucky man for not being fired this week.

In the taxi on the way home, Amy said: "I think Lord Sugar has missed out on a huge opportunity by firing me but I will scale up and expand my business now, obviously without him."
