BBC viewers can look forward to a new comedy show that starts this week.

We Might Regret This is about a tetraplegic artist named Freya who moves to London with her partner.

Radio Times explains: “Tetraplegic Canadian artist Freya moves to London to live with her partner Abe, a lawyer, along with her 24-hour live-in carer, while her PA Ty is efficient but problematic.”

The publisher added: “Things are disrupted when Freya's chaotic best friend Jo arrives for the welcome party.”

The BBC adds that viewers can expect a “messy, tender comedy” when watching the new series from creators Kyla Harris and Lee Getty.

Lee Getty added: “It’s one of the few female perspectives on disability and care on screen.

“It also centres a disabled character, but does not make them being disabled the ‘conflict’, but rather it’s a series about complex characters and messy relationships explored through a disabled lens.”
