Sian Welby has returned to presenting duties on This Morning after the birth of her first child - Ruby.

Welby is known as co-host of Capital Breakfast along with Jordan North and Chris Stark, while she also appears as a presenter on ITV's This Morning.

The TV and radio presenter revealed, via Instagram, on June 29 that she had given birth to her first child - posting a photo of Ruby with the caption "Our little Ruby (heart emoji)".

Who is Sian Welby's fiancé?

Welby is engaged to Heart Breakfast producer Jake Beckett, who is also Ruby's father.

The pair announced their engagement back in August last year, with Beckett proposing to Welby while out on a boat trip.

At the time, Welby posted on Instagram saying: "On Tuesday I thought we were just going on a boat trip!!

"Genuinely didn’t see this coming. For once I am totally speechless. I didn’t think it mattered until he asked me, and then suddenly it meant everything. Love you Jakey."

The pair is said to have met at work, according to The Sun, with Beckett a producer at Heart Breakfast, which is under the same media company as Capital - where Welby works.

Beckett, as part of his job, has worked alongside a range of hosts including the likes of Rochelle Humes (The Saturdays singer and This Morning presenter), Emma Bunton (Spice Girls) and Kelly Brook (Model and Celebrity Race Across the World), the news outlet added.

When will Sian Welby be returning to Capital Breakfast?

Welby is now set to make her return to radio in September following the birth of her daughter.

She will return as co-host of Capital Breakfast, with North and Stark, on September 2, the radio station revealed earlier this month.
