THE picture this week has been sent in by Derek Revell, of Bradley Road, Silsden, and is of a group of employees from the Hield Brothers Mills in Cross Hills. Mr Revell says his mother is pictured fourth from the left in the centre row, but he has no idea who any of her workmates are.
Judging from the style of clothing the ladies are wearing the photograph could have been taken any time during the 1950s or possibly even into the early 1960s. Any further information or comments would be gratefully received.
If you have a picture that is suitable for this feature please send it, with some details if possible, by post to Reporters, Craven Herald, 38 High Street, Skipton, BD23 1JU; or by email to: news@cravenherald.co.uk. Please include your name and address, and a daytime telephone number if possible.
