ON a recent visit to Scarborough, my wife and I visited the 18 hole pitch and putt course, which was well maintained, with lots of people playing, at £4 per round.
What a contrast to the former site in Aireville Park, Skipton, which it has been suggested may become a dog walking area, which would accrue zero revenue in car park/cafe fees.
Perhaps Scarborough's officials should be invited to show Skipton how it's done.
