WHARFEDALE will welcome back the experience of prop Matt Beesley and two signings from Settle club North Ribblesdale.
The 26-year-old Beesley, who played three seasons for the Greens, has re-signed for the club from the Premiership outfit Northampton Saints.
"Matt originally left Wharfedale to join Northampton, but now he is coming back having experienced rugby there and out on loan at Championship and National League One," said Wharfedale coach Jon Feeley. "He is a well-rounded player and a good leader. We'll benefit greatly from Matt being back with us."
Also joining Wharfedale from North Ribb will be hooker Matt Speres and centre Jonny Moore.
Feeley said: "They're looking to test themselves at a higher level. They're a good fit for us and they're both based locally."
One player who has departed Wharfedale is prop Reece Ward, who has joined National League One club Rotherham.
Meanwhile, as the Greens prepare for a new season, a 40-man squad made up of first, second and third team players travelled on tour to the Isle of Man.
They defeated Douglas RUFC 28-0 on Friday and beat an Isle of Man representative team 47-31 on Saturday.
Feeley said: "It was good preparation for the season and a good team bonding exercise."
The Greens travel to Blaydon for a friendly on Saturday, August 24, and host another friendly against Rotherham the following Saturday before opening the season at Otley on Saturday, September 7.
