ADDINGHAM blew a great chance to beat Burley-in-Whafedale in Aire-Wharfe League Division One after an extraordinary batting collapse.
Visitors Burley-in-Wharfedale were shot out for just 69, thanks to Richard Atkins (4-28), Rory Stead (3-4) and Robert Ellis (3-37).
But a stunning effort by Jason Wright (7-25) ensured a comeback for the ages, as Burley won by just eight runs.
Mid-table Steeton survived a major scare at struggling Ben Rhydding in Division Two. The hosts' bowlers were all among the wickets as the visitors crumbled to 129 all out.
But extras top scored with 13 when it came to Ben Rhydding's turn at the crease, as they were dismissed for a paltry 53. Stephen Pearson destroyed the home side's batting, with remarkable figures of 7-19.
Division Three's runaway leaders Green Lane humiliated struggling Skipton by 203 runs. They scored a a huge 271-1, with Waleed Akhtar belting a brilliant 156 n.o. before blowing away the opposition for just 68.
