RAWDON'S pursuit of Otley's Aire-Wharfe League Division One crown continues as they were involved in another free scoring affair against Horsforth.
The visitors put up a mighty challenge against the title challengers but, in the end, their 270 target was a mountain too high.
Andrew Duckworth (92) and Henry Scanlan (66) got the home side off to a flyer.
Oliver Hardaker's half-century put the visitors in with a shout. However, Jake Hodges' 6-45 cut through the Horsforth order, who finished on 219/9.
Luke Jarvis gained five wickets as Bilton skittled leaders Otley out for 127, a more than reachable score. Chris Thompson (6-16) performed wonders though to steal the show and force Bilton to fall at 66.
Ted Haggas' 6-36 reduced Follifoot to a less than average 101ao which Addingham, thanks to Robbie Miller (71), easily passed with nine wickets to spare.
Henry Wilson and Paul Dover went to work on North Leeds' order. The pair each gained fifers to only allow their opponents to set a lowly 38. The target was met inside 9.2 overs.
It was a closer contest in Olicanian's clash with Collingham & Linton.
The hosts set a decent 148, bowler Sajjad Ijaz (34) the high scorer. Although, Collingham responded well and Ed Hayhurst's 72 helped them narrowly win the match by two wickets.
Brilliant bowling from Henry Barrow (6-34) removed Saltaire for 74. The ever-present Sajad Ali (25) was unable to replicate his usual bowling efforts as Burley-in-Wharfedale captured the victory in under 20 overs.
Beckwithshaw jumped ahead of Adel at the top of Division Two after a solid 54-run win over Steeton. Joseph Holderness' 74 coupled with Jonathan Macgregor's 69 stormed Shaw to 239/7. Harry Lister gained five wickets in Steeton's 185 effort.
Guiseley were unable to successful chase down Adel's 159. Jonny Baines was their highest scorer with 22 after both Joel Newlove and Harry Naylor had tried their best with the ball, gaining three wickets apiece.
A half-century from Aadam Hussain and wicketkeeper Matt Tavare's 48 allowed Kirkstall Educational to set 241/9. A score Calverley St Wilfrids simply could not match, falling 92 runs short.
Four matches took place in Division 3 as Colton Institute continue to run riot at the summit. They crushed Leeds Modernians by a massive 176 runs. Opener Darren Precious (50) scored a fifth of Institute's total and David Wright (3-15) was the star with the ball.
Shiv Bhatoa (64) and Ahsan Tanveer (57) were key in Bolton Villas' 206/7. Amir Hussain also grabbed an impressive four wickets in Tong Park Esholt seconds' 142 response.
Thackley were torn apart by a fierce North Leeds seconds bowling trio. Tom Alldred (3-21), Steve Wales (3-31) and Aftab Karim (4-6) destroyed the hosts' order. Although Craig Wiseman's four wickets did cause a slight wobble, Leeds got over the line.
In a reduced overs match, Chris Quaife (80) thought he had done enough to guarantee his Ilkley seconds (176/7) side the victory. However, St Chads Broomfield had different ideas. Sachin Nehra's 49 was rewarded with a two-wicket win.
The fixture between Alwoodley and Ben Rhydding, and Old Leodiensians' meeting with Skipton were both cancelled.
In Division Four, Pool seconds achieved the most comfortable of victories with their 10-wicket blasting of Calverley St Wilfrids seconds.
Green Lane seconds still reign supreme in Division Five. They hammered Steeton seconds by 116 runs to keep challengers Horsforth Hall Park at bay.
Meanwhile, St Chads Broomfield seconds remain unbeaten in Division Six. They came through a tough test at second-placed Follifoot by 12 runs to go a massive 26 points clear at the top.
