BARNOLDSWICK Town remain 16th in the NWCFL Premier Division after their home game against Charnock Richard on Saturday was called off.
The weather took a turn for the worse late Saturday morning and after a pitch inspection, the game was called off just before midday due to a waterlogged pitch.
Fortunately, Barlick are in no real danger of relegation, and even better, they have a chance to get back into action pretty much straightaway.
They are set to be playing at mid-table Congleton Town down in Cheshire tomorrow evening.
Assuming the match goes ahead, it will be Barlick's first since their 2-2 draw with AFC Liverpool on January 22.
