IT WAS third time lucky for ten-year old Aston Browne, a Skipton youngster who claimed his first national karting title at the weekend.
Browne from Hetton, Skipton, is in his final year at Threshfield Primary School, and he's been competing in an eight-round National Championship which has taken him all over the country this season.
Known as the CKC Cadet Kart Championship; all the races were streamed live on YouTube and Browne was able to travel across the country in search of his first title- visiting places such as Cumbria, Kent, South Wales and Suffolk.
Thankfully for Browne it was third time lucky after he'd finished third in the previous two seasons in his other club championships.
