AS of now, 58 games have been played this season by the junior players of Settle Cricket Club, with quite a fair number of games still to come.
The Softball Development team, as well as the Girls Softball Championship and Girls Softball teams have had some brilliant games so far this season, with many of the players enjoying very successful debut games.
The club has two hardball pairs teams, Boks and Gazelles, who have, up until this point, faced some tough competition. However, they have made some great strides due to the dedication shown by players, parents, managers and coaches. The under 11s have progressed to the Barritt Stephenson Cup Final, where they will meet Great Horton Church CC at Harden Cricket Club on Sunday July 9.
The u13s reached the quarter finals in the John Hindle Memorial Cup and are currently second in the league. The u15s reached the quarter finals in the Raleigh Hargreaves Memorial Cup 2023 and are currently third in the league.
In addition to the club game thus far, Settle have had several players selected at trials held earlier in the year for representation at County and District.
