TWO local cricketers are continuing to fly the flag for Settle at county level.
Archie Phillipson, who plays for Yorkshire u16s and plies his trade at 1st XI level for Settle, has been in fine form in recent weeks.
The talented youngster, after scoring 42 runs last week against Northumberland, went on to score 77 runs against Cheshire over the weekend to continue his rich vein of form.
James Galley, who plays for Settle and Yorkshire u13s also had a successful turnout for his county over the weekend.
He captained his side victory against Leicestershire and finished with an impressive figure of 4- 20 from just eight overs.
