SKIPTON RFC held its 8th Annual "SkipTENS" tournament at the weekend with the Skipton Roses retaining the women's trophy and Keighley RUFC retaining the men's in a very tense final with North Ribblesdale.
Eleven teams took part in the tournament in total, with teams from as far afield as Penrith and Oldham taking part in the women's competition.
The tournament was played on a round robin basis with the top two teams in each section going through to the final.
In the men's competition, Baildon looked strong in the early stages but Keighley pipped them into the final against North Ribblesdale and came out 19-7 winners in a closer game than the score suggests.
Despite gaining 76 points in the round robin stages, Penrith were overwhelmed by Skipton Roses in the final of the women's section, with the Roses retaining the trophy with a comfortable 62-0 victory.
