UPPER Wharfedale School are holding a prize draw for a very special item.
They have been donated a signed England Rugby Union shirt from 2019-20 and are looking to raise money in a bid to support their pupils financially so they can partake in extracurricular activities.
The shirt itself is only one of 200, while it has also been framed and signed by the whole England squad.
A spokesperson at Upper Wharfedale School said: “We believe in developing the all-round child and one way we do this is through the range of experiences on offer outside of the classroom such as trips to London, Poland, Iceland as well as other local trips.
“These trips are becoming more difficult for parents to afford and so the money raised from this project would form part of a pot of money to ensure children can take up these opportunities.”
So far, £425 has been raised but the target remains £1000 with ten days left of the draw.
One entry is priced at £5, while you can buy five entries for £20. The winner will be announced by December 15.
