BARNOLDSWICK Town have progressed to the next stage of the Macron Cup, having cruised to a 4-0 victory over Route One Rovers in round three on Saturday.
Ryan Moore, Andrew Hill, Gareth Hill and Matthew Argent-Barnes were the home side’s goalscorers, as they turned it on in the second half to hit three goals and take the tie away from the Bradford outfit.
In other news, Barlick have completed the signing of goalkeeper Aaron Batley, who will provide strong competition between the sticks.
Barlick commented: “The club are happy to introduce the signing of goalkeeper Aaron Batley to the squad, who is a great lad and we look forward to working with him.”
Town's fixture at home to Charnock Richard has been postponed tonight, with the club commenting: "Persistent rain is causing problems to the pitch, especially the goalmouth near the clubhouse."
