THE Craven & District Cricket League have signed a one-year sponsorship deal with Timothy Taylor’s.
The Keighley-based brewery replace long-standing backers Mewies Solicitors.
Among the attractions for member clubs is a 10 per cent discount for using the brewer’s webshop, while clubs are also encouraged to purchase beers (cask, keg, bottle or can) from Timothy Taylor’s at puborders@timtaylors.co.uk or by phone at 01535 603139.
The league’s balls for the 2024 season will be embossed with the Timothy Taylor’s logo, while other irons in the fire for clubs include banners, posters and mugs.
Cricket lover Jane Jenkins, marketing director of Timothy Taylor's, said: “We are proud to be the new sponsor of the Craven & District Cricket League.
“Many of the grounds are in villages or towns where we have Timothy Taylor's pubs or where our award-winning beers grace the bar of sport venues and local pubs.
“Cricket is such a community sport, with dedicated players and volunteers. We are keen to support the league network as a family-owned Keighley-based business who value the support the local community gives us.''
Timothy Taylor’s owned pubs near Craven League grounds include The Fleece (Haworth), Taylor’s On The Green (Keighley), The Brown Cow (Bingley), The Woolly Sheep (Skipton), The New Inn (Cononley) and The White Horse (Thornton, Bradford), plus many more.
