NORTH Ribblesdale had an astonishing six representatives at the Yorkshire U20 county game against Lancashire on Sunday.
The fixture was played at Sedgley Park, and although Yorkshire were edged 22-21, the six Ribb players and the club itself can be immensely proud of their achievements.
The players in question were Elliot Marklew, Oli Drew, Ben Coultherd, Callum Mathew, Harry Mathew and Freddie Spensley.
Ribb’s very own Coultherd and Mathew both scored tries in the contest.
The club commented: “This is a marvellous achievement for a small club such as ours and we believe it is an unprecedented number of players from one club.
“They are all regulars in the first team and have been an integral part of our success thus far this season. Congratulations lads.”
