BARNOLDSWICK Town's NWCFL campaign came to a close on Thursday evening, as they secured a 1-1 draw at home to Ramsbottom United.
The result earned Barlick a 17th place finish, and although form has improved in recent weeks, it signalled the end of a fairly underwhelming league campaign.
There is still one more game to go, however, as Barlick take on Chadderton on May 11 in the Macron Cup Final at Accrington Stanley, with tickets now on sale.
On Saturday, Town got off to a strong start and were ahead after 21 minutes - Jack Foster racing clear from the halfway line after charging a clearance down. He made no mistake in clinically dispatching his effort.
Unfortunately for the home side, they couldn't hold on to a final day victory as Oumar Camara levelled things up for Ramsbottom with two minutes of normal time remaining.
