Giggleswick School student Jack Sanderson has proudly received his Great Britain kit ready for the Championships held in June.

Sanderson has been selected to represent Great Britain at U20 level in the European Mountain Running Championships held in June in Annecy, France in the uphill and up and down race.

Director of Sport, Ed Buck commented: “I am delighted to see Jack get selected for the U20 Great Britain squad.

“His dedication and time on the fells are hard enough but to balance this with his GCSEs is remarkable.

“Giggleswick has a strong running culture and Jack epitomises what it takes to succeed; his success has been built on the local fells, but I am ever so excited to see him test himself in France next month.

“We wish Jack the very best of luck and will be following his races closely.”
