BARNOLDSWICK Town have an early derby in the upcoming North West Counties Football League Premier Division season.

Their first away game comes at rivals Colne, who they will visit on Tuesday, July 30.

That comes three days after their season opener, which is at home to Lower Breck at the Silentnight Stadium.

As it stands, the NWCFL have only revealed each side's opening two league fixtures so far, with the rest to follow in due course.

The season kicked off for Macron Cup holders Barlick with a friendly on Tuesday night at Bradford side Thackley, of the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.

A cracking encounter ended 3-2 to the visitors, with Steve Pickup's side coming from 1-0 down early on to lead 3-1, then holding off any late fightback after the Dennyboys halved the deficit.
