BARNOLDSWICK Town registered a narrow 1-0 victory at home to Cheadle Town on Saturday to rise up to 10th in the NWCFL Premier Division.
The winning strike came after just ten minutes of the contest, with William Proctor being the man to deliver his side the three points.
The forward put the ball away after an Andy Hill cross found Proctor in the six-yard box.
And the hosts held on to a valuable victory.
They return to action at home to Longridge Town tonight, ahead of travelling to Curzon Ashton on Saturday in The Emirates F.A Cup 2nd Qualifying Round.
