A stoppage time winner from Leon Creech was enough for Barnoldswick Town to book their place in the second round of the West Riding County Cup on Tuesday evening.
Barlick travelled to Liversedge, a club who are going through an early season transition following the decision to part ways with club stalwart Jonathan Rimmington as head coach.
The visitors took full advantage of the uncertainty surrounding the Bradford-based side to come away as 2-1 winners in the opening round of the competition.
Brandon Barski put the visitors ahead in the 29th minute, before Desmond Amponsah levelled for the hosts just before the interval.
However, Creech was on hand to deliver Liversedge a huge blow in the first minute of stoppage time in the second half, as Barlick booked their place in the next round of the West Riding County Cup.
