After a break for the bank holiday weekend, Cross Hills’ teams were back in action at the weekend and returned some impressive results.
In the Wharfedale League, the first mixed team dug deep to earn a draw with Pudsey, thanks especially to a strong performance from Edie Dexter and Iryl Panti. The second mixed team were also in action and drew 4½-4½ at Tranmere.
In the Bradford Parks League, the ladies’ team travelled to Rawdon, where they were unlucky to go down 3-1 on the grass.
Meanwhile, the first men’s team did their league position no end of good by scoring a 4-0 victory against Bingley. The second men’s team took on leaders Batley away, losing 3-1.
Finally, the third men’s team continued their rich vein of form, beating high-flying Bingley A 3-1.
