Sutton hosted their fourth successful Kwik Cricket Festival last Wednesday.
It was arranged through its School Links Programme with South Craven School and was closely managed by Ben Bolland from Sutton Cricket Club and school links co-ordinator Vanessa Themistocleous.
Teams from five primary schools – Sutton Church of England, Sutton Community, Glusburn, Cononley and Kildwick – participated in an afternoon of fun and competition in ideal conditions. Glusburn were the winners with Kildwick second and Sutton Community third.
Each pupil received a certificate of participation and medals were presented by partnership development officer Rebecca Walters and Craven District sports development officer Bruce Dinsmore.
The festival was attended by staff, fellow pupils and parents of the team members.
