King Cross Park A 68 Cowling Harlequins 0
COWLING went to Halifax hopeful of their first Pennine League Division Four West win against a team they have often had close games against.
Their hopes dived as soon as they arrived and found out the King Cross first team had seen their game called off and many of their players were drafted in to play.
The Quins fielded five new signings and former Greetland player Scott Varley. The Cowling side was hoping for a better day at the office but it didn't materialise.
Player coach Daz Greenwood was given ten minutes in the sin bin after questioning a number of forward passes.
When Greenwood returned he was narrowly off target with a penalty.
The stand-out players for the Quins were Nathan Parkin, Simon Parker, Scott Varley and Danny Windle.
